About
Pocket Verdict started because we were tired of review pages that clearly never opened the app. We're a handful of people who grew up on handheld games and now spend our evenings tapping through phone screens, taking notes, and arguing about whether a tutorial is too long.,The idea is simple. One of us plays a game for at least a few hours, sometimes much longer for RPGs and strategy titles. We track how it feels in the first ten minutes, whether the controls make sense, and if we actually want to come back the next day. Then we write it up in plain language.,We pick games from across all genres on purpose. A puzzle fan and a racing fan want different things, so we try to cover both. Some titles land on our desk because readers suggest them, others because we stumble onto something interesting while browsing.,Nobody pays us to put a game in the catalog. If we didn't enjoy something, we say so. The point is to be the friend who already downloaded it so you don't have to guess.
